Volunteer Opportunities

We are a non-profit, charity organization. Without our amazing volunteers we would not be as successful as we are. There are many opportunities to volunteer!

Please note: You must have a membership to volunteer at our Ladysmith Gallery, a committee or on our board of directors.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering can be very rewarding! Volunteering allows you to:

  • Deepen your connection to the Arts - get behind-the-scenes access to exhibitions and the creative processes

  • Build valuable relationships in the Arts Community - Meet artists, curators, educators and fellow art lovers who share your passion. Open the doors to new opportunities, spark collaborations and be a part of a vibrant, creative network.

  • Develop Professional Skills and Experiences - Gain hands on experience in areas like arts administration, gallery installation and more that are transferable to other daily tasks and more.

  • Make a Tangible Impact - Play a direct role in ensuring that people of all ages and backgrounds can experience the power of arts.

  • Fuel Person Growth and Inspiration - Increase your confidence, and deep your appreciation for artistic expression, perhaps find renewed motivation in your own creative practice.

  • Be a part of Something Meaningful - Your contributions keep the arts alive, relevant and inclusive for future generations.

  • Stay healthy in both mind and body.
