About the Event
In this class, I’ll guide you through a simple yet enchanting watercolor technique: creating delicate flowers from a single drop of paint. It may sound almost magical, but with just one carefully placed drop of watercolor and a gentle brushstroke, you’ll see beautiful petals begin to take shape right before your eyes.
We’ll explore how subtle movements of the brush can transform that single drop into a variety of different flowers. Each flower unique, soft and expressive. As we practice, these tiny blossoms will come together to form vibrant and elegant garlands that feel both lively and organic.
What makes this technique so special is its simplicity. You don’t need complex brushwork or advanced skills, just a willingness to experiment and let the watercolor flow. The process is relaxing, playful and surprisingly easy to learn, yet the final results are truly stunning. By the end of the class, you’ll have a charming collection of floral garlands and a delightful new technique you can use in cards, journals, illustrations and decorative artwork.
