About the Event

Celebrate our natural environment with this one-day printmaking workshop. Students will learn about printmaking as an art form and use a gelli plate to create original and one of a kind pieces of art. We will go outside to collect plant material, and use what we collect to make designs and patterns. We'll also get to play with color and add drawing elements into our work. We'll take a half-hour break for lunch, and at the end of the workshop, students will have a better understanding of printmaking and will leave with a collection of prints to display, give as gifts, or use as elements in other art projects.

Please Bring:

  • A full water bottle and a bagged lunch
  • Clothes that can get a bit of paint on them
