About the Event

Delve into contemporary portraiture and its significance in today's image-driven culture shaped by social media. Develop the skills to imbue your portraits with personality and emotion using modern techniques. Prior painting experience recommended. Learn more about your instructor at www.mitchellvilla.com

Materials List:

  • Mixed media sketchbook

  • Freestanding or tabletop easel (your preference)

  • 1 - 2 painting supports - Your choice of canvas or wood panel, minimum size 16 x 20 inches (prepared and ready for paint)

  • Brushes: bring a range of your favourite brushes, including #6 and #14 flat brushes
