About the Event

The dynamic teaching duo Stephanie Roth and Braiden Stevenson have an extra fun day of singing, dancing, and acting planned. Drawing inspiration from the musical Mean Girls, this workshop will be a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a day of performing arts. Participants will not only explore their artistic talents but also have the opportunity to make new friends, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Between all the fun performing arts activities, there will be supervised play, lunch, and snack breaks. The culmination of their efforts will be an informal presentation for loved ones, showcasing what they worked on together over the day.

Each participant is asked to bring their own lunch, water bottle, and clothes that they can move freely in.

About the Instructors:

Stephanie Roth is an accomplished performer and teacher with over 35 years of experience on stages worldwide. She has toured internationally with the Broadway tour of RENT and performed in the original Canadian company of The Who's Tommy. Stephanie also established the Stephanie Roth Performing Arts Studio, here in Ladysmith in 2021, teaching private and group singing lessons plus providing comprehensive performing arts programming for people of all ages.

Braiden Stevenson began tap dancing at the age of 5, and it was quickly apparent that he had a passion and a talent for all things dance! He graduated to ballet and jazz by the age of 10, and in grade 8, he spent two years at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. Upon graduation in 2005, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to perform with Disney! Since then, Braiden has been a presence on stage, delighting audiences everywhere he performs!
