About the Event

Create an eye-catching mask that is perfectly suited for completing your Mardi Gras Madness event ensemble (Ladysmith Arts will be hosting a live music and dancing event at Aggie Hall on March 9). We'll start with plain white masks and add colour, texture, embellishments, and plenty of visual interest to make your mask one-of-a kind.

Facilitated by professional artist and experienced educator, Josslyn Meyers, this mask-making party will guide you through the process of dreaming up, designing, and making a fun and fabulous mask. All supplies will be included, but feel free to bring some of your own decorations to add that special touch.

Please Bring:

  • Clothes that can get a bit of paint and glue on them

  • Water, or a caffeinated beverage if you'd prefer

  • A snack to share, if you'd like
