About the Event
Discover the depths of your true identity through an immersive workshop that merges art and nature. Gain a profound understanding of who you are as you engage in creative activities that bring awareness to your everyday life, roles, and experiences. Using natural materials, you will harness the power of reflection and self-expression, empowering you to bring your identity into clear focus. Don't forget to bring your journal and pen to capture your personal journey and maintain a lasting connection with nature's wisdom, even beyond the workshop. Embark on a transformative experience that equips you with the tools to navigate moments of uncertainty and find solace in the natural world.
About the instructor: Hello fellow nature lovers! My name is Farrell Elliott (they/them). When I'm not facilitating transformative art experiences, you can often find me immersed in nature, whether it's out on the water or atop a majestic mountain. At home, I cherish moments spent in the garden or engaging in joyful baking adventures with my children. Exploring unconventional materials in my art practice liberates me from perfectionism and allows me to focus entirely on the creative process, embracing the beauty of imperfection. The soothing presence of nature, from the rhythmic waves and whispering winds to the diverse textures it offers, deeply influences my work.
