About the Event
Map folding is a practical form of paper manipulation and can be applied to the artist's book with wonderful results. Participants in this workshop will first be introduced to map folding with historical models as a reference. Next they will practice a few map folds and then will apply their newfound
knowledge to making their own artist's book. Students will take home a soft cover folded book with seven different map variations, all made using maps from Trisha's personal collection.
