Our one-week musical theatre camp, inspired by the spellbinding world of Wicked, is an experience you absolutely CANNOT miss! Led by industry professional Stephanie Roth, this is a camp like no other. Imagine spending your days singing your heart out, diving into captivating scenes, and learning iconic choreography with both new and old friends. Don't let this chance fly by – join us as we learn unforgettable songs, scenes, and choreography from the smash-hit movie and musical, all leading up to a final performance for your biggest fans! This camp is suitable for children ages 9-12.
About Stephanie Roth:
Stephanie is a professional singer, actor and performer with over 36 years of experience in the musical theatre industry. She began singing at age 10 and landed her first professional job at age 16 performing at Canada's Wonderland. After graduating from Sheridan College, she won a role in the Canadian premier of The Who's Tommy. Stephanie has since performed in a variety of productions across North America, including the US Broadway Tour of RENT, the original Canadian company of The Who's Tommy, and leading roles in regional theatres nationwide. In 2021, she moved to Ladysmith and founded the Stephanie Roth Performing Arts Studio, where she teaches singing and musical theatre to the community. She also directed her first show, "BRAVE," a live musical revue for the Chemainus Seniors Health Care Center generously sponsored by Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society. Stephanie finds incredible joy encouraging, supporting and celebrating her love of the performing arts with our beautiful community.
Note:
If your child requires additional one-on-one support, they are welcome to attend with a responsible helper arranged by the parent/guardian. On a case-by-case basis, providing a responsible helper may be a requirement for participation.
