About the Event

Learn how to create simple and engaging videos using your own device and easy-to-use software. In this exciting one-day workshop, we will explore various video editing programs to help get you into creating your own videos for social media, websites, online demos and beyond. While there are many video editing programs to choose from, we will be focusing on iMovie, Filmora 9, Inshot, Kapwing and Loom. This workshop will look at how to edit your videos and considerations for selecting video editing software. We will also talk about equipment you might consider when setting up a video recording space. There will be a hands-on portion where each participant will work on creating a short 30-seconds to 1-minute video using one of the video editing platforms.

We are following current COVID-19 regulations: we will be checking for proof of full vaccination for participants born in 2009 or earlier.
