About the Event

Explore modern approaches to the traditional medium of watercolour. In this four-week class, we will look at contemporary artists and discover new ways to approach subject matter. Take a fresh look at colour choices, and try out new uses for collage and mixed media in your work. Framing your piece in a modern way will also be covered.

We are following current COVID-19 regulations: Masks are mandatory inside the building, and we will be checking for proof of full vaccination for participants born in 2009 or earlier.

New Four-Week Session Begins: Tuesdays, Feb 15 to Mar 8: $75

Recommended Materials List: 

  • 140-lb watercolour paper, cold press (pad or sheets)

  • Watercolour brushes (1-inch flat, number 8 round, number 12 flat)
