About the Event

Sure, hand-felted scarves and wraps are delightfully snuggly in cold winter weather, but not all felt is alike!  Cobweb felt scarves are light, airy, and lace-like. They are perfect for the shoulder seasons as a delicate and colourful accessory. In this workshop, which is suitable for all levels, participants will make a cobweb felt scarf from start to finish out of fine merino wool, adding embellishment fibres like beautifully soft silk.

Your Instructor, Donna L Bennett, is a textile artist and experienced educator who will guide you through the process and provide you with the materials needed to make a scarf that is sure to become a cherished statement piece.

Note to Participants:

Wet felting can be challenging for folks with back issues because frequent bending from the waist is required. Also, wet floor around your work space can pose a slipping hazard.
