Kids ages 8 to 12 years are invited to play with clay! Learn how to construct clay objects with hand building techniques. In a four-week series, we will complete three projects and we will cover a new handbuilding concept each week. This course will include slab building, coil building, and small scale sculptural techniques. Pieces will be finished with underglaze painting in the final class. Please be aware that the projects will need to go through a two-step firing process in kilns and will be returned one to three weeks after class completion.
