About the Event

Work with experienced instructor and craftsperson, Andrew Kent, to build either a willow club chair or a loveseat in one day! Using alder for the frame and willow for the seat and benders, you'll receive step-by-step guidance along the way. This is a great first rustic building project for beginners, or a great options for those who have taken previous rustic building classes too. All tools and materials provided.

Note that you will be on your feet for much of the day.

Please Bring:

  • A full water bottle and a bagged lunch
  • Clothes that you can move easily in

Andrew has been building willow furniture and garden art, as well as teaching workshops on Vancouver Island, for over 25 years. Using traditional rustic designs, as well as his own ideas, Andrew strives to create a meeting place for art and craft, function and form.
