About the Event

In this four-day child and youth visual arts camp, we will work in two groups (students aged 6 to 9 and 10 to 13 years). Participants will be invited to explore the wonders of the natural world and see the artistic potential of everyday found objects like leaves, rocks, and branches. Half of each day will be spent in creating colourful and life-like 2-D art projects with local artist and arts educator, Josslyn Meyers, and the other half of each day will cover imaginative and eyecatching 3-D art projects with Maggie Wouterloot, fine arts instructor and educator of over 20 years. Students can expect to come away with a strengthened sense of creative self-expression and a fresh way of seeing and interpreting the world around them.

Each participant is asked to bring their own lunch, water bottle, and clothes that they can move freely in and get a little paint…
