About the Event

This after-school art class, taught by professional artist and experienced instructor Josslyn Meyers, is all about animals! Students will develop confidence and find their own creative voice as they explore art principles in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Sketch, sculpt, draw, paint and collage your favorite animals. We'll even make a pet portrait. Learn about proportion, texture, details, and look at artist's interpretations of animals throughout history.  We'll look at bugs, birds, reptiles and mythological creatures no one has seen before!
