I felt a variety of energies during this painting process; from flow & easy to rock-solid resistance. An overall feeling of passing through layers of the unconscious or layers in time. Anyone watching my process would have wondered (as I did) what on earth is she digging for? I remember thinking "What's in here? ... Gold!" while I leaned my head onto my arm to rest. But each time I tapped back into this energy, it had me scraping & digging more. I counted 6 or 7 gloves when I was cleaning up afterward, all pierced through from all of the vigorous digging & scraping motion.
