“A Dream of Swans”, capturing caustic optics, blurs the line between painting and photography and between reality and imagination. In this process, I don’t set up a thing or subject to photograph. Rather, I unpack light and abstract meaning from that. In this way, these artworks are both records of fleeting instants in time and lyrical testaments to seeing “the world in a grain of sand.”
